ONLINE - 3 Hour NMLS National Test Prep

The deadline for passing the NMLS National exam is quickly approaching. If you do not pass the exam, the NMLS requires you wait 30 days before retaking the exam. Don’t put your career at risk. Be prepared to pass the NMLS National exam the first time!

To help prepare you to successfully pass the NMLS National exam, Mortgage Educators has developed an online NMLS National Test Prep Course. This consists of the following:

• A 3 hour instructor lead NMLS National preparation video lecture with textual descriptions of important points to reinforce comprehension.

• Sample test that simulates the NMLS National exam. This test is broken down into the following modules (Federal, General Mortgage Knowledge, Loan Origination Activities, and Ethics) to mirror the NMLS National exam you will take.

• 35 Federal Law questions

• 25 General Mortgage Knowledge questions

• 25 Loan Origination Activities questions

• 15 Ethics questions 

Some students may want a more exhaustive review to prepare for the NMLS National exam. If that is what you feel you need, Mortgage Educators also offers an Expanded 3 Hour NMLS National Test Prep Course with the following additional features:

• The same comprehensive NMLS online slide presentation that is provided to students who enroll in our 20 hour NMLS pre-licensure class. (This will not satisfy NMLS 20 hour pre-licensure requirements).

• Sample question pool of over 500 test questions, allowing you to take multiple sample tests to increase the likelihood of passing the NMLS National exam.

In addition to passing the NMLS National exam, most states also require existing and new Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs) to pass a State specific exam. Mortgage Educators has NMLS State specific Test Preparation courses as well.  

You will be permitted to access the online lecture and sample test for 45 days. We recommend that you watch the course and take the test as many times as you need to prepare for the exam.
